Alan, Congratulations on your membership. Given the number of seafaring folks as well as migrations in the general southern Nova Scotia area as well as New England area of the U. S., I think it safe to say that many of us have a connection to the Mayflower, either directly or indirectly, if we followed the correct lines in our ancestry. I have thought about doing what you did, but have never been successful in quite making the connection. I have a Bradford line, which family lore says descends from Gov. William Bradford, but EVERYONE with any Bradfords says that :~) and I have never made the connection. . . . yet. A general word of caution, though, and I am posting this to the list because it pertains to everyone. In the future, you might want to rethink putting your personal information (address, phone, etc.) in a post on a mailing list, as it can potentially be put to use by folks with less than honorable (or legal) intentions. Mail on this and all RW mailing lists goes into the Archives for all of us to research months and years in the future, so you might keep that in mind. Again, my congratulations. I have checked your list and find no connection to my own ancestors in Yarmouth or Shelburne, but perhaps it will come in the future. David List Admin -----Original Message----- From: "Alan C.
