Either David Smith, b.1691,and his lovely bride, Sarah Higgins 1699, MA ,are their folks OR Jabez b.1686 from CT , sonof Daniel Smith is the parent. We are in the frey of Jonathan marrying Jane (Jenny) Hamilton and his brother Solomon marrying Rebecca , both daughters of Thomas Hamilton, of Chatham. Brother David married Sarah Hamblin 1741 and thenThankful Godfrey, and finally the brother Elkanah b.1738 wed Liz Kendrick. The transplanted family, supposedly started at the "Head" before going on to Cape Negro/ Port Latour areas. Any kin willing to help? Jonathan begat Abijah, he and Sarah Ring begat Caleb, 1814, he was raised and travelled between Sambro and Canso. Caleb had Stephen, who had Albert , who had Cyril, then there's me.
