I am a Bostonian - err East Boston anyway. My ggrandfather Thomas Doane (Jones) Swansburg of Shelbourne, NS., married Janet "Jane" McKay of Shelbourne, NS., and moved locke (A family joke as we are related to the Lockes of NS too) stock, and barrel to Boston Circa 1880. Jane's uncle is none-other-than shipbuilder Donald MacKay. Jones was a ship's carpenter. In his later years Donald walked up from the docks at lunchtime and ate at his niece Jane's kitchen nearly every afternoon.
