Children: (1) Joseph (2)Ephriam (3) Cornelius (4) Oran (5) Hiram (6) Mary (7) Eunice (8) Fanny (9) Elizabeth >From Barrington Township Records, page 20, Ziba Newell and Jerusha Lonsdale were married by S. O. Doane. Jerusha Lonsdale was born June 21st 1797. Their children's births (a) Joseph Newell born September 3rd 1822 (b) Asneath Newell born 3rd May 1826 (c) Ephriam Stinchfield Newell born 21st November 1826 (d) Oren Newell born 15th September 1832 (e) Patience Smith Newell born 7th September 1835 (f) Pernal Covil Newell born 7th Sepotember 1835. Jerusha Newell parent to the above children deceased 3rd December 1835 >From These Stones Shall Be For A Memorial, Hattie Perry, page 49-50. In the Cape Negro Island Community Burial Ground in unmarked graves John Cook Sr., Lavinia, wife of John Sr., died February 1880 age 76 years >From Yarmouth Herald, 29 April 1880, Died, At Cape Negro Island, on February 9th, of inflammation of the lungs, Mary, wife of Mr. John Cook in the 77th year of her age. (I suspect this is meant to be Lavinia) Nathan Doane is a name probably from the Roseway-Shelburne area Doane family. If you check the Doane Family Genealogy by A. A.
