Could they be the same person. Johannes Jerick ACKER came on the ship Hallifax from somewhere in Germany Sept 22 1753 and was about 22 years old. (We do not know how acurate this is. He and two other brothers ended up in Blair County Pennsylvania in the area of Clover Creek. They moved their from Chester Co. Pennsylvania. Their names were listed then as John ACKER (Johannes), Leonard ACKER (2 children) and Christian ACKER (house full of children, lots of records available). Johannes (John) was married to Susanna Visard (Vizard) and had many children. His son John is my great great grandfather who had 13 children. I have some birth, marriage and death dates and places and spouses.
