Does anyone have any records or knowledge of William Mackay born Durness Scotland married to Catharine Morison of Thurso and settled in Shelburne. They are supposed to have come over to Shelburne in 1803 on a ship called the Nelly Morrison but I cannot find any records of the ship existing. William died in died in1829 and is buried in St. Johns Kirkyard, Shelburne. Does anyone have details of the inscription on his headstone. His wife Catharine Morison died in 1872 and is buried in Shelburne, St. Johns,Kirkyard - does anyone know the inscription on this headstone. The had numerous children born in Shelburne from circa 1805 but I have been unable to find official records of the births or baptisms. Help!!! Eileen Munro
