My dad is the youngest of three boys, the oldest Michael, James, then John (my dad). Need anything and everything on this Mary Sutherland Chase... Cemetery will not release any info since I cannot prove relationship, even though she is in the family plot... state will not provide death cert., since I cannot prove relationship.... Happy New Year, List: The 1901 census transcription is coming along - there are now almost 1,600,000 names transcribed BUT there are still many to be done. There are 17 districts in Nova Scotia and so far only Annapolis, Hants, Kings and Lunenburg are completed. Why don't you check to see if your NS relative has been transcribed (http://automatedgenealogy.com/index.html). Just click on "1901:" in the upper right hand corner of the page and follow the directions on the that page. AND...while you're there, why not sign up to help with the transcription? It's easy to do!
