They had a son Henry Acker, b 1778 in NY, then moved to Shelburne NS area aprox 1780's, my guess is they were United Empire Loyalists. Would like to prove this. Henry Acker married Catherine Sparling, their son Isaac John McSparling Acker b 1814 married Elizabeth ?, they had a dau Emma Jane Acker, she married a Timothy Gregory. Unfortunately, we know very little about him. He was born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. His mother, Elizabeth Huskins died when he was young. I'm looking for information on Elizabeth Huskins, George Hill, and Cecil. Would love to hear from anyone with information on this family. I'll be in Nova Scotia for a week in June.
