Hi list, Looking for any information about John Coops and family. Information I have (cannot vouch for the accuracy yet) says he was born in England and died in Milton, Nova Scotia. He married Hannah Gorham who was b. 1759 in New England and died also in Milton. They had a son James Coops b. 1787 who was married to Hannah Nickerson, both of Milton. James & Hannah had a son Thomas (1821-1876) who married Margaret Jane Leslie. Their daughter Letitia Brown Coops (1867-1938) married my great grandfather James Henry Wolfe (1862-1940).
