Silas was the son of Silas West and Mary Cobb b. Feb. 3, 1737 in Plymouth, Ma. #2 The 3 sons of Capt. John West and Phebe Freeman: A. Silas West b. Jan. 15, 1763 B. John West b. Dec. 2, 1776 C. Charles West b. Sept. 29, 1778 #3 Charles West m. Judith Coffin and their son Peleg West b. June 1765. #4 Ebenezer West b. Sept. 13, 1780 to William and Bethiah (Nickerson) West who married Mary Tupper Nov. 24, 1802. All the above West families lived in or around Liverpool, Queens County, Nova Scotia. Hello Diane:- I may be incorrect, but I believe you are mixing two kinds of WEST -- German and English.
