His name was actually Emmanuel Whynot of Danesville, Queens Co., NS and according to the 1881 census, he and his wife Ruth had the following children. 1) David 1860 2) Elizabeth 1863 3) Nathaniel 1865 4) John Allan 1867 5) Eliza Jane 1869 - Married Alexander Croft on April 21, 1889 6) Annie Letitia 1871 7) Mary 1873 8) Birdie 1875 9) Hannah 1877 10) Lelornia? 1879 If anyone can provide more information about this family, I'd love to hear from them.
