    1. [Queens] My Wish for 2003!!

    3. To all: To date I have not had any replies -- so am re-posting! ----------- Ever since I started Loyalist research, I have always had one leading question, which has yet to be answered:- "What was the name(s) of the ship or boat(s) which brought members of the 76th Regiment of Foot to Port Roseway/Shelburne where they landed Nov. 5, 1783". I have names of all, original grants of land and family data. The regiment was disbanded in New York City - with the bulk of the regiment coming to Shelburne. The official disbandment was later in England - then re-commissioned.. Some who had original land grants at Gunning Cove, then Port Joli, included Robert Innes(s), Peter Fisher, Donald MacKay, many others, plus my ancestor Finlay McIntosh. A list of passengers should contain names of wives and children, as some were born while regiment members were imprisoned in Virginia from 1781 to 1783. The above is my wish for 2003 -- the name of a ship or ships! Muriel M.
