    3. Message May Be Forwarded Greetings All. In the next little while I will be paying visits to the offices of Canada's Federal Election hopefuls in my area. The purpose of these visits will be to find out what their positions are in regards to public access to 92-year-old Census records as per the Access to Information and Privacy Acts. I encourage everyone to do the same and I invite you to post the results of those visits on the Canada-Census-Campaign mail list, or directly to myself for redirection to the CCC list. Your response should include the following information: Name of Province and Federal riding Name of Candidate Political Party of Candidate Position regarding public access of 92-year-old Historic Census records, i.e. whether supportive or otherwise. Please restrict your responses to the issues relating to Census records. PLEASE DO NOT POST THESE RESULTS OR RESPOND TO THIS MESSAGE ON ANY MAIL LISTS OTHER THAN THE CANADA-CENSUS-CAMPAIGN MAIL LIST. Administrators of mail lists to which our Post-1901 Census posts are sent have been gracious enough to allow them to be posted. We are very appreciative of this and do not wish to jeopardize their hospitality with an influx of what may be considered as off-topic messages or responses. To subscribe to the Canada-Census-Campaign mail list send a message to: Canada-Census-Campaign-L-request@rootsweb.com with only the word SUBSCRIBE in the subject line and body of the message. Thank you all for your support. Happy Hunting. Gordon A. I have already done this, asked my candidates, both have said YES to census release, but we will have to wait until June 28 to see which name is posted on the scoreboard.
