As well an any of the numerous genealogical societies, and the Archives located in Halifax, NS Info from web on Queens County Museum: "You will also discover exhibits on Forestry, Ship building, and Privateering and one that both adults and children alike love to come and see, our Railway Exhibit, representing the good old rail in the 1930's and 40's. Queens County history has been well recorded, thanks to men like Simeon Perkins (1734 - 1812) who kept an account of the cultural and economic events of the day. His diary is on permanent display here at the museum. We are easy to locate. Travel Nova Scotia's highway 103, to Liverpool's exit number 19. Turn right across from Tim Horton's coffee shop, and proceed to the Main Street intersection. Turn left and we are on the right approximately 1000 feet from the intersection. Main Street, Liverpool, Nova Scotia, (902) 354-4058" Within the museum is the Thomas H. Raddall Research Centre, "In 1929, Thomas Raddall was one of the founding members of the Queens County Historical Society. The renowned historian and author Dr. Thomas H. Raddall passed away in 1994. Following his death, his son Dr. Thomas Raddall Jr. made possible the building of an addition to the museum to house the Thomas Raddall Research Centre. Upon entering the centre, you will see an exact replica of the author's study, furnished with his possessions. The Thomas Raddall Research Centre provides researchers with access to numerous historical and genealogical records. The centre's resources continue to expand due to the efforts of individual researchers and a very active Family History Group. The fee to use the centre is $ 5.00 per day."
