Her great, great grandfather was Andrew Jeans who married Elizabeth Freeman in 1826. Andrew was the son of Daniel. Daniel also had another son Isaac married to Isabella. Daniel was living in Shelburne in 1786. It appears he was a United Empire Loyalist who received a King's Bounty in Shelburne. We are also searching for information on Daniel. As yet we have not found a death record. But, birth records and other information may be available at the the public archives in Halifax. We would be happy to share information with you.
