I found the following information from the Ship's List. 1817 is the year. I am looking for passenger lists for these two ships. The two ships then went onto Pictou. Any help would be appreciated. Bonnie Davies Sydney Scots: PANS, Vol. 329, Doc. 109 July 23 Hope - Greenock 161 passengers July 25 William Tell Greenock 221 passengers Acadian Recorder Aug. 2 "A ship and a brig" arrived at Sydney with "400 passengers, from the Orkney Islands." (this ship and brig no doubt were the Hope and William Tell, before mentioned). Another ship with 250 passengers was expected at Sydney from the same place. Canso Scots: Colin S.
