A tract of land containing 26,030 acres was set aside for the soldiers in Pictou County and it became known as the 82nd grant Robertson, William 1785 Merigumish 100 Drummer, 82nd Regiment reeived 100 acres http://www.rootsweb.com/~nspictou/index.htm Note: for those names where there is no "Origin" listed, many of those men were disbanded from the 84th RHE, 2nd Batt and settled on a different tract of land on the East River, closer to todays Sunny Brae Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
