Hi Kathy, I believe that the Mac/McLeods that ran the funeral home were the following EDGAR, ELWOOD, DEWITT MCLEOD of River John. My John James MacLeod married an Evelyn Dunn in 1892, he was born in 1870. Kim, My guess would be that there is some connection as that is where a great deal of my family is from. If you ever come across the name Swantee in your searching, think of me.
