Hi Ryan, The 1881 Canadian census is searchable at http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=census/search_census.asp The 1871 Cenus is being indexed at http://www.familysearchindexing.org/en/index.jsp and when done, I think the records will be linked to the digital images. For 1881, you would need to bring in the microfilm from LAC on interlibrary loan or FHC and make your own copies.
