Hi Ben and others: Thank you. I have no idea at this time who Belle McIntosh's parents are, were from, etc. All I know is that she lived at MacLellan's Mountain at the time of her marriage to Alexander/Allie MacDonald, son of John, son of Donald MacDonald, who got a grant from an original grantee of land, in Upper Settlement after 1801. He was from Inverness. Her male children were Donald, John and Duncan. She likely named one of her children after her father. All I have is the information in a file #19 - 001, History of the MacDonald (Miller) Family, Sunnybrae from the Pictou County Genealogy & Heritage Society. Is there anyone on line with knowledge of the history of MacLennan's Mountain and its settlers? Thank you, Kate Ross Ontario --- [email protected] wrote: > Is this the same family?? > > 1 Isobel MACINTOSH. > She married Alasdair MACDONALD in 1805 > Alasdair (Alaisdair Og) was from Glenurquhart > > Parents > 2 Charles MACINTOSH.
