Hello Ben, I am sorry that I do not have anything to assist you in your search at this time but I am wondering if you can help me. My great grandmother was Margaret Ellen MacIntosh, 1844-1891, from the Pictou/Colchester county area in Nova Scotia. I was told that her mother was Anne Fraser but I have nothing on any other member of her family. Have you ever come across these folks in your searches? I am also closely related to two MacDonald families in Pictou County. One line from Lewis and one from Glencoe Scotland.
