My family knew the Cummings and I only wish I had known when my mother was living. She passed away three years ago. However, my sister-in-law's uncle was Ches. Cumming. Unfortunately, she is having memory problems so not sure how much she can tell me so will try her son who lives near me. I do know that Ches. was bank manager of Scotia Bank in Pictou at one time and then went to Ottawa. I also remember the name Hilda being mentioned around our house.
