As they appear to have been living in Ontario from at leat 1873, of course you won't find a lot of info in Nova Scotia. here is a family of MacDonald's who settled in Bailey's Brook, Pictou County aong with the family of Angus MacLean. their family sketches have been done by a lady named Marleen Hubley of Antigonish. her work is posted on the Antigonish Genweb site under the family webpages link.
