Hi folks, I've just updated the "Researchers to Contact" page by adding Jeanne Sandford who is searching the McPherson surname. Here is the information she passed on. "James McPherson who was father to Sarah McPherson, born 1830. Her death certificate reads Pictou. Nor sure if that means the entire county or Pictou itself. Sarah McPherson married James Chambers in 1852 at Point Brule. This is the only information I have. Would love to find some others who are researching the name." If anyone has information to share or think they might make a connection please connect Jeanne at [email protected] Jeanne lives in Alabama, making it a little difficult for her to get to the resources in Pictou County.
