Alexander Sr.,who came on the Hector was born in Invernessshire, Scotland in 1728 and was married to Marion Campbell, who was born in Inverness Scotland in 1743.She was the youngest daughter of the Laird of Skreigh of Invernessshire. He died on Sept.24,1803 and she passed away on Sept.26,1798; and they are both buried in Alma Cemetery in Pictou County, Nova Scotia.Their family was: Alexander (Jr.), Simon, Katherine, Isabella, Hugh, David, and William. Alexander Fraser (Jr.) (Elder) was born in 1755 and died September 8, 1828. He married Mary or Marion Mac Donald, born 1763 and died April1, 1849. They are both buried in the Pioneer Cemetery, Middle River. They had a family of 12: Alexander, John, Simon, Hugh, William, Donald, David, Mary, Elizabeth, Marion, Nancy and Janet. John(1796-1879) who married Isabella Mac Donald (1808-1880), was my gr.gr. grandfather- My gr. grandfather was their son Thomas Mac Culloch Fraser(1844-1911) and he was married to Jennette Campbell(1860-1948). Their son, John James,(1884-1956) was my grandfather.He married Ethel Russell(1888-1961) . Their daughter, Mabel (Fraser) Johnson,(1913-1988) was my mother. I have lots of information on our Fraser family also and would love to share. Many of this family are still in the Pictou County area as well as places in Canada and USA.
