July 1, 1852 in Halifax to Marion Drew (Gray) and James Lithgow. William died 1929 in New Glasgow, N.S. This union had 4 children, Helen, Peirce, Gertrude and Ellouise. Peirce moved back to the USA and Ellouise married an Alister MacDonald August 22, 1918 in St. George's Church, Pictou County. Alister was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. I am trying to find living relatives. I have published a book on the Youngs of Colchester County and my great great grandmother's sibling was Marion Drew (Gray) Lithgow. I have found the family bible of the Gray's and Young and it is being sent to the Historical Society in Hants County but has not been delivered yet.
