Is there anyone out there who has been able to document the HUGGAN family of Merigomish area? I have a number of them which intersect my SIMPSON line from that community. There is one HUGGAN in particular who is currently a problem for me. According to the website, "novascotiagenealogy.com", I have this: Catherine (nee HUGGAN) SIMPSON (B:15 OCT 1842) (D:11 JAN 1926), d/o James and Catherine HUGGAN. She had a son named Milton SIMPSON. I know her husband was one David SIMPSON but trouble is, I have two potential David SIMPSONs and even two Catherine HUGGANs. One Catherine was allegedly the d/o James and Mary HUGGAN while the other Catherine was the d/o Duncan and Catherine HUGGAN. Is anyone in a position to help sort out this issue?? Thanks
