Hello! The main Catholic Cemetery is in Lismore and the very large cemetery is on the opposite side of the road from the church, serving all of the area including Bailey's Brook. The library in New Glasgow has a very good genealogical resource for pictou county and there is a genealogist on staff who is extremely helpful. As well, The Pictou County Roots Society has a room above the library and there are volunteers there who will be glad to help out. Also you may find records at the Hector Centre in Pictou, as they have a very extensive resource library. Lots of Luck! There are many, many, many MacDonalds! Hello Beulah! Thank you for the info! I called the New Glasgow library and they were very nice and directed me to the Roots Society where a very nice lady actually did some impromptu research for me over the phone! I was floored! I'm traveling to Sheet Harbour for the weekend and I hope to go to New Glasgow tomorrow to further my research! Thanks again! and wish me luck! *fingers crossed* -Cara On 5/18/07, Beulah Jane Wright <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello! > > The main Catholic Cemetery is in Lismore and the very large cemetery is on > the opposite side of the road from the church, serving all of the area > including Bailey's Brook.
