I am interested in obtaining information on my Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother, Cassie and Daniel C. Walker. I found them and their family in the 1881 Canadian census as farmers in the Earlton, Colchester area of Nova Scotia. I also am searching out information on another Great Grandfather from the Pictou area, George C. Reddy, a blacksmith and his wife, Mary Grant Reddy. Any help would be appreciated. Bruce Walker
I have a Mary Grant who married a George Ready (sp) as part of my extended family. Her sister Eleanor Grant (who was married to Daniel Morrison Grant) is my great grandmother. Eleanor's father was William Grant from Scotch Hill, and her mother was Ann McLaren. (From the McLaren Funeral home family.) Hope this helps. If you think it is also from your line, I could provide you with some of the dates that I have for this family.
