Jerry, I have the transcript of Scotsburn, NS. I am afraid a fair distance from Mount Thom. There are about 14 Mccullochs buried ther , but I see no Mary Frasers. There is a website called Pictou Roots which list many cemeteries and people (google it) My Logan family lived on the west river, and oddly enough, bought their land from a Mr. McCullouch, who wanted to give up his grant, May be just coincidence. The site Book called "History of the County of Pictou has an account of a Mr McCullough or McCullough who apparently was quite a prominent man. Also ther is a site called Hector Center in Pictou which has a lot of info. Hope this helps Barb in BC,Canada [email protected] ----- Original Message ----- From: "jerry byers" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, September 16, 2007 6:30 AM Subject: [CAN-NS-PICTOU] McCULLOCH / FRASER / Mount Thom, Pictou Co > Pictou Co Listers: > > My ancestor: William McCulloch b. abt 1783 Tain, Ross and Cromarty, > Scotland, son of Alexander and Margaret [Forrester] McCulloch of Tain, > Scotland, migrants to Kennetcook, Hants Co, NS, about 1788. > This William McCulloch migrated to Mount Thom, Pictou Co, NS.
