I did have the 1900 and 1920, but the 1870 had eluded me, despite my looking for it directly since I knew their son had been born in PA. Your tips opened up all kinds of additional information - getting me all the way back to her parents marriage in Scotland. Prior to that it gets harder to verify - lots of John Robertson's in Scotland! I did find that he died in 1850 in NS, but I don't know what happened to her mother after he died and Rosann went to the US. Thanks again!
