Hi All, The complete transcription of the census for Victoria County for 1871 is now available on my website, here: http://www.dwaynemeisner.com/censusnovascotia.php Click on "Victoria" to see the menu choices of which census is available. The 1871 census covers all twelve polling districts of Victoria County, which were, in 1871, Baddeck, Bay St. Lawrence, Boularderie, Cape North, Englishtown, Ingonish, King's Cove, Little Narrows, Middle River, Munro's Point & St. Ann's, Plaster, and Washabuck. If you are already a registered member of my site, you will be able to view the information immediately. New users will have to complete the free registration process. As always, please let me know if you spot any errors. I am sure there are a few... Feel free to check out the other areas of the map that I have completed earlier.
