Ann Kirkpatrick is also listed in the 1861 Pictou Town Census, herself and six females. No Bernard. In NS Vital Stats, Pictou, the marriage of two of her daughters is recorded. Leticia in 1867 and Jane in 1870. The two daughters list their father as a Merchant and I think he died prior to 1861. https://www.novascotiagenealogy.com/ Jane Dawson has her mother Ann (widow, age 60) with her in the 1881 Census, Pictou Town.
