John A. Buckler John Appleton (Jack) Buckler, 63 Bridgewater was buried in Brook-side Cemetery, February 5th., following funeral services at Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Rev. S. R. Sheppard officiating. His death occurred suddenly at home Monday evening, February 3, I960. Retired, he had originally been employed by M. W. Graves company and associated with 7-UP for many years. He was a member of the Acacia Lodge No. 39 A.F. - A.M. A member of Bridgewater Curling Club for several years. Born at Dalhousie West, Annapolis County, the son of the late J. Norman and Elizabeth (Harris) Buckler, predeceased by an only brother. Surviving are his wife, the former Gertrude Andrews; one son Arthur of Bridgewater; two daughters, Joan (Mrs. Clayton Joudrey) Dartmouth; Beth (Mrs. Glendon Conrad) Bridgewater four grandchildren. Five sisters: Kathleen (Mrs. De-Blois Anderson); Alma (Mrs. Carmen Mills); Lillian (Mrs. Ronald Longmire) all of Bridgetown. Laura (Mrs. Ray Fritts) Florida; Freda (Mrs. Charles Holdt) New York. Pallbearers were: Don Mills; David Eaton. Ernest Buckler, John Smith. Wallace Rhodenizer, Elbert Ramey. Floral tributes were: Casket Spray-Family. Only-A-Rose-John Open Heart-Grandchildren.
