Does anyone know if the Allan McPhee listed in the 1838 Maxwelton, Pictou census as a farmer with four children under six is the same person as the Allen McPhie listed in the 1851 Maxwelton, Pictou census with 3 children under ten and six children between 10 and 20? More importantly, to me, is he the father of Jonathon (b ~ 1838) , Joseph (b~1843), Archie (b~1845) and Sarah (b ~ 1842) McFee listed in the 1861 census of Stratford, Perth County, but listed as born in Nova Scotia?
