MRS. Appleton Buckler The death occurred at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Buckler, following a brief illness. Mrs. Buckler was born at. Dalhousie West. 86 years ago, daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Cummings) Swift. The major; part of her life was spent there: with her husband Appleton Buckler, (who predeceased her 2ft years ago), and family. In her later years, she resided with her son at Centrelea. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. James Pike, were held from All Saints' Church. Gibson Lake, with interment in the family plot there. Mrs. Buckler is survived by one son Ernest of Centrelea, and three daughters, Mrs. Harold Buckler (Nellie) of Dalhousie- West, Mrs. Raymond Rice (Olive) of Weymouth and Mrs. Robert Simpson (Mona) of Dartmouth.
