He was a member of St. Paul United Church, Westville, and a retired coal miner by trade. Surviving are his wife, the former Marguerite (Peg) Dunbar; daughters, Roberta (Mrs. Charles Jackson), Telford; Faye (Mrs. Edwin Fraser), Millbrook; sons, Bill, Bob, Millbrook; Tom, Rockfield; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, James, Thomas, Westville; sisters, Mrs. Ida Corrick, Mississauga, Ont.; Mrs. Jean Halliday, Westville; Eileen (Mrs. Ian Daley), Upper Onslow. He was predeceased by twin sons in infancy; sisters, Mabel, Martha. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday, both in Eagles Funeral Home, Westville, Rev. Joseph Lafave officiating. Burial in Auburn Cemetery, Westville.
