Taylor, Bernice - 91, Glen Haven Manor, formerly of Acadia Avenue, Stellarton, died Monday December 1, 1997, in the Manor. Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late William George and Mary Jane (Wadden) Rundle. She had been a resident of Stellarton for the past 70 years and of Glen Haven Manor the past year. She was a member of Sharon St. John United church and the Crystal Fountain Rebekah Lodge 11 for over 50 years. In her earlier years, she was a longtime employee of Mansour Home Furnishing, Westville Road. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by daughter Ruth (Mrs. John Chisholm), Waverley; Grandsons, John Wesley and wife Lee Anne, Robert, Halifax; Great-Granddaughter, Emily. She was predeceased by husband, Wesley; Brothers, Charles, John, Josiah; Sisters Mary, Bessie Beckwith, Emily Shaw. Her remains will rest at H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton, with visitation Thursday, from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. and from where funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, Rev. Foster Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Donations in her memory may be made to Glen Haven Manor.
