Dr. William M. Kennedy 1964 Bridgewater Bulletin Dr. William M. Kennedy passed away suddenly at Dawson Memorial Hospital on Monday afternoon, May 11th. He was born in Brookfield, Colchester County, a son of the late Lorenzo G. and Elizabeth (Edwards) Kennedy and was 67 years old. He received his early education at Truro, St. Francis Xavier University and Chicago. He graduated from University of Kings Law School, New Brunswick at the age of 20, and practised law for a short time, prior to studying the profession of Chiropractic. He had practised for 44 years in Chicage, Gaspe, Quebec, Mahone Bay, and in Bridgewater, where he had spent the past 14 years. He held the degrees B.C.L., D.C., N.D., and F.R.T.S. He was the last surviving member of a large family and was a seventh son, six brothers and three sisters having predeceased. There are a number of nieces and nephews surviving. The remains are resting at Wamback's Funeral Home, and funeral arrangements are not completed at this time.
