Thanks Rick: 1. I don't know what the "F" means for Christena F. Fraser. Sorry. 2. Did any of the 12 children of Charles Fraser and Christena Cameron marry a George Fraser? 3. I am researching this family to see if I have a connection through the FRASERS who went to Rhode Island especially my GGG Grandfather, Samuel Fraser, born 28 FEB 1821 in NS died in RI on 3 FEB 1892. Samuel Fraser worked in silverware manufacturing as a silver melter. He and his wife, Elizabeth had six children. At the time of Samuel’s death he lived at 20 Nichols Street, Providence, Rhode Island. Cause of death: catarrhal pneumonia (inflammation of the nose and air passages). His father, and my GGGG Grandfather, was Donald Fraser who emigrated to Nova Scotia in 1805. His obituary was published in the Eastern Chronicle Newspaper: “Donald Fraser, native of Glen Morrison, Inverness-shire, Em. 1805, died at Blanchard, E.R., leaving a wife and large family. I will see if the Chronicle Herald microfilm at the Toronto Ref library might contain an obit for Margaret Muir. I will look at my transcriptions for Foxbrook as well as I will no doubt have that and probably a pic as well. ( I recorded all Frasers gravestones whether related or not.) This weekend is probably not doable to get to the library. I have to travel north to Sudbury for my mothers 83rd birthday... Hi Bill, I have Catherine, d/o Charles and Christena, b. Apr. 1865, marrying a George Fraser, b. Sep. 1864, of Little Harbour on 18 June 1885 in Westville. They had a daughter Lillian born in Dec 1881. I haven't found anythong more on this family. Perhaps this is why, if they moved to Rhode Island..... I do know that one of the Frasers I have been looking for moved away to Rhode Island but I don't recall which one at the moment.( I am out of town for the weekend and don't have my paper files.) The name Donald has not come up anywhere in my Fraser background to date. I don't recall where Blanchard is, I will have to look that one up. Sorry, I don't see a fit into my Frasers. Perhaps more work will show a link. I will see if I have anything that might be helpful when I return home.
