From the census's it appears both Alexander and abel were born in Nova Scotia. One thing you might try is get to a LDS Family History Center and get their films on Deeds and Property etc. and see if any Wall's owned prperty in the County abouot the time the boys were born. Not too common a name so a good possiblity you could find the father at least. Good luck. Bill in Montana.
