The 1871 census covers all twenty-two polling districts of Pictou County, which were, in 1871, Albion Mines, Barney's River, Cape John, Caribou, East River, Gairloch, Gulf Shore, Hardwood Hill, Hopewell, Little Harbour, McLellan's Mountain, Merigomish, Middle River, Mount Thom, New Glasgow, New Larig, Pictou, West Branch River John, River John, Roger's Hill, St. Mary's, and West River. If you are already a registered member of my site, you will be able to view the information immediately. New users will have to complete the free registration process.
