1851 census--District 1 town of Pictou (12 Mines). Alexander (Alexr.) Hayman 2M-1F (20-30) 1 M (30-40), 1 M-1F (above 50), 2 married, occupation not given, Religion: 5 Kirk of Scotland, No. in school 0. In the census of 1881 in MacLellan's Mts. we have some of the family and in Little Harbour, we have more of the family. In 1871 Middle River 2-58-62 (April 12) we have the family and in Middle River 2-59-63 (April 12) we have more of the family and in Little Harbour 1-94-96 (April 17) we have family as well. In 1881 we have them in Albion Mines. Have not written down the district. We also have part of the family in MacLellan's Mountain. There is so much I have not written it down. However, the district might help you but don't worry about the Haymans not being included. They are in the census in the Archives.
