Born in Bayview, Pictou County, she was a daughter of the late William and Ella (MacKenzie) MacKinnon. She was a secretary for the Department of National Defence, Halifax, for many years, and lived in Loch Broom for 25 years. She is survived by two sisters, Jean (Mrs Roy MacKenzie), Pictou; Jennie (Mrs William MacNeil), Sydney; a niece. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; a sister, Verna. Funeral was Tuesday, Feb. 23 in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou, Rev. Kenneth Stright officiating. Burial was in Haliburton Cemetery, Pictou. Posted for information only.
