Born in P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late James and Dianna (Malone) McGonnell. She was a resident of Pictou for 16 years, returning to Charlottetown in 1968. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Charlottetown. She is survived by two daughters, Charlene (Mrs Tim Johnston); Sally (Mrs Don Murdock), both of Pictou; a son, William, Charlottetown; two sisters, Margaret (Mrs John Dillon), Saint John; Mrs Sarah Chandler, Charlottetown; two brothers, Peter and John, both of Charlottetown; four granddaughters. She was predeceased by her husband, William; three brothers, Leo, Tom, and Jim; two sisters, Elizabeth and Martena; a granddaughter. Funeral was held Friday, May 29 in Holy Redeemer Church, Charlottetown. Burial will be in People's Cemetery, Charlottetown. Posted for information only.
