Born in Garden of Eden, she was a daughter of the late John and Jessie (MacLaren) MacLaren, New Glasgow, being a former resident of MacDonald St. She moved to the United States over 60 years ago and lived in New York for many years before moving to Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell A.; two sons, Russell Jr., and Herbert; three sisters, Florence (Mrs George W. MacDonald); Evelyn (Eva) (Mrs Seymour Langley); Jessie (Mrs W. John Greene); five brothers, John Dan, Neil, Edward, Albert and Alex. She is survived by several nieces and nephews in Pictou County and the United States. Interment was in New York.
