Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Margaret Jane (Watters) Wood. She was a member and elder of St. Paul's United Church, Robb unit and LTBA Lodge, Westville. She is survived by her husband, Bert; a daughter, Glenda (Mrs Frank Mader), Westville; three sons, Dennis, Stellarton; Dexter, Gary, both of Westville; three sisters, Earla (Mrs Arvin Halliday), Vermont; Margaret, McLellan Brook, Pictou County; Mary (Mrs Ivan Harrison), Whitehorse, Yukon; two brothers, Jack, Harry, both of Westville; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mrs Glendine Hodgson, Lila; two brothers, Douglas, Fraser. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday (today), June 29 in St. Paul's United Church, Westville, Rev. Harold King officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery, Westville. Posted for information only.
