Born in New Brunswick, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Nora (Harquail) Rankin. She lived in Stellarton all her married life, and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. She had been a guest at the Manor for the past two years. She is survived by her husband, Gerald (Gyp), Stellarton; three daughters, Catherine (Mrs James MacArthur) and Lottie (Mrs Vernon MacIntosh), both of Stellarton; a sister, Helen (Mrs Roy Oliver), New Glasgow; two brothers, Fred and Keith, both of Stellarton; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Earl. Funeral mass was held Tuesday, Mar. 1 in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Joe Gillis officiating. Spring burial will be in the parish cemetery. Posted for information only.
