Born in Saint John, N.B., he was a son of Bernard and Jean (Milbury) Thibodeau. A former resident of Ontario who moved to Stellarton in 1986, he was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Theresa Coady, Stellarton; a daughter, Tara, at home; a sister, Mrs. Jean Tigh, United States. He was predeceased by a daughter, Christine. The remains were transferred today to the Fitzpatrick Funeral home, Saint John, for funeral service and interment. The New Glasgow Evening News, Tuesday, February 3, 1987 - STELLARTON - In the obituary of Douglas Charles Thibodeau of Stellarton that ran in the Jan. 26 issue of The Evening News, it should have read the deceased died Friday, not Saturday.
