Delmont Arthur Yeo, 81, Indian Harbour Lake, Guysborough County, died Tuesday in L.R. MacKaracher Nursing Home, Sherbrooke. Born in Tyne Valley, P.E.I., he was the son of the late Arthur and Eva (Boates) Yeo. He was a minister of the Anglican Church of Canada. He completed a high school education at Pictou Academy and later studied at the Presbyterian College in Montreal and at Gordon College, Boston. Completing his theological studies at Wycliffe College, Toronto, he was ordained in St. James Cathedral as a deacon and served as assistant in St. Timothy's Church, Toronto. After service in Prince Edward Island, he was ordained to the priesthood in the church of his baptism, St. James Cathedral, Port Hill, P.E.I. in 1963. In 1970 he was appointed rector of the parish of Liscomb and Port Bickerton where he retired and lived in Indian Harbour Lake until just before his death. He is survived by two ! sisters: Dorothy (Mrs. Roy Hayes), Moncton; Lorna (Mrs. Harold Hotland), Badeque, P.E.I. He was predeceased by three sisters: Belle, Katie and Vivien; five brothers: Fergeant, James, Ernest, Roland and Alden. Memorial service was held today (Saturday) in St. James Anglican Church, Sherbrooke. Interment will be in St. James Church cemetery, Port Hill on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. Posted for information only.
